I sat down with Chris & Kyle of Ezra Zion at IPCPR 2014 in Vegas to get the dirt on their newest release, the Tantrum PA. The Tantrum PA is the follow-up to the Tantrum (read our review), a small yet punchy cigar that received accolades across the cigar blogosphere. The only problem was the limited availability of the tobacco which made up the Tantrum. According to Kyle the fans wanted a toned down and longer version. This time they used tobaccos that should be available indefinitely and did just what the fans asked for. The Tantrum PA is a 6.5×44 Nicaraguan Puro entirely composed of Casa Ferndandez/Aganorsa tobacco. The blend is a Corojo 99 wrapper, Corojo binder and Criollo/Corojo filler. I got a taste of the Tantrum PA and even though it was a quick take, I thought it was the best Ezra Zion I’ve had yet.
