Smoking Monk Imperial Stout - 02

Construction of the Smoking Monk is like most Drew Estate cigars with a solid looking cap, well packed feel, and a good looking wrapper. The foot gives off an aromatic fragrance that reminds me of some ACID cigars and has me wondering if this cigar is in-fact infused.

THE SMOKE

FINIS

wildcard-emblem-word1
The Smoking Monk itself is a simple cigar with a consistent sweetness. It’s a touch over medium bodied, but doesn’t change throughout the smoke. It fits into the Wild Card class because it doesn’t really have a distinguishing moment or flavor that puts it into something specific.

v-pedestrian-emblem-word1
Typical Drew Estate consistency with billows of smoke, but lacks some distinction on its own. You want to be pairing this cigar because that’s when you can truly enjoy what it has to offer. It’s nothing overpowering, but a balancing act with whatever you are drinking. Grab a complementary beer, sit back, and enjoy the two together.
