Crowned Heads is poised to release a TAA (Tobacconists’ Association of America) exclusive for the second year in a row. This year’s version is a 6 x 52 toro rolled at Ernesto Perez-Carillo’s Tabacalera La Alianza, S.A. just like last year’s. The blend features an Ecuadorian Habano wrapper with Nicaraguan binder and filler. The cigar will retail for $10.50 each. 20,000 total cigars are being produced (1,000 20-count boxes).

Jon Huber of Crowned Heads told CM, “I ‘amped-up’ the blend a bit over the 2014 edition…to me (and others who’ve smoked it), the closest thing I would compare it to would be a Four Kicks Mule Kick LE 2012.”
According to Huber, the cigar is slated for a June release date.
